My Approach to Counselling

I specialize in creating a comfortable and non-judgmental environment. Research shows that the therapeutic relationship is the most significant predictor of change for clients in therapy. The relationship we build together will form the foundation for deep emotional exploration and meaningful, lasting change. Embracing your resilience, we'll navigate inner resources and obstacles together, sometimes even sharing moments of levity. From this co-created safe space, courage develops — the courage to create positive change in your life.

My commitment to supporting individuals on their journey toward self-discovery, healing, and personal growth is based on an eclectic approach. I draw from various therapeutic modalities such as Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, to best suit the unique needs of each individual. At the core of my practice are humanistic values — a belief in the inherent worth of every person, the importance of empathy, and the power of a genuine therapeutic relationship.

I am passionate about creating a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions, gain insight into their experiences, and develop meaningful strategies for managing life’s challenges. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, or are simply seeking a deeper sense of self-understanding, I’m here to support you with compassion and respect.

My approach is rooted in anti-racist, gender- and sexuality-affirming, intersectionally feminist, decolonial, and anti-oppressive practices, which are values I am continually deepening and expanding in my work.
